| This is the ancient castle on top of Hitotoki Hill. It is home to none, except for the spirits that are rumored to haunt it. The spirits have no problem with the residents anymore.

It was destroyed by a huge earthquake that took place in the modern era (neither past, nor future). The citizens of Hitotoki were unable to rebuild it, so they cleared the rubble and raised a monument in its honor.
